REPORTS DIRECTLY TO: Executive Director


Under the direction of the Executive Director and oversight of the Leadership Program Advisory Committee, this position is responsible for developing the leadership program along with related curriculum and activities to support the program objectives.  The program manager will work closely with the WIN executive director to ensure program implementation and success. 


Leadership Program for People of Faith Mission Statement: To train and educate the diverse spiritual voices of Wyoming to collaborate boldly with their faith communities in envisioning and implementing a more just, welcoming, and inclusive Wyoming. 

Program Manager Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop material to publicize the program

  • Make contacts through various media and in person to acquaint faith leaders state-wide with the program

  • Help recruit and enroll candidates for the program

  • Orient the candidates to the program

  • Develop activities to achieve the program’s objectives with input from the candidates

  • Provide facilitation and oversight of each training session

  • Develop evaluation criteria and forms for the program

  • Conduct the evaluations and write a summary report with recommendations

  • Prepare the final report to the Foundation of the Episcopal Church in Wyoming

  • Manage the program budget

  • Engage the program’s advisory committee and update the WIN board of directors about the program’s progress

  • Arrange for speakers, meeting rooms, equipment, supplies, distribution of readings, and provide additional logistical support as necessary for trainings

  • Other duties as assigned.


In addition to the qualifications listed below, the desired individual must be able to work independently in a dispersed work environment.



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in social science, business, religious studies or any related field

  • Experience in working with a variety of faith traditions

  • Experience in program management and detailed planning

  • Ability to motivate and inspire others

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills: ability to manage priorities and workflow

  • Acute attention to detail while maintaining a vision of the big picture

  • Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels

  • Understanding of and commitment to WIN’s mission.
