Executive Director
Susie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, a Master’s in Counselor Education and a PhD in Educational Leadership. The focus of her work has always been on fostering relationships and community connectedness to improve health, wellness and equity, with and on behalf of marginalized people. Susie specializes in storytelling for social justice and educating about historical roots of intersecting disparities in order to promote peaceful, supportive, inclusive, socially just spaces for all, where we grow, live, learn, work, play and pray. Susie lives in Cheyenne with her husband, Mark, a Special Education teacher. She and Mark are the parents of Baylee and Sam, both students at the University of Wyoming. Susie enjoys gardening, running, kayaking, and spending time with her family.
